  Colin Love is an outstanding attorney and he was a tough, no-nonsense judge whose eyes the wool could not be pulled over. He was not one inclined to favoritism or nepotism; he did not play the "favorites game". A man with his experience and depth of knowledge is a rare and valuable gem in the legal world, and his integrity is unimpeachable (which is more than I can say for most of those in the legal profession these days, judges included). Hawaii law required Mr. Love's retirement as a judge when he turned 70, and that was a tremendous loss to Hawaii judiciary. The bench is now stacked with a bunch of numb-nuts who despite years of practice, haven't learned the law. If you want an attorney who can and will guide you right and who's been on both sides of the bar, Colin Love is your man. There is not a person in the legal profession whose advice I would trust more. His clarity and understanding of the law, as a whole (versus bits and pieces) will assure any client gets the most comprehensive legal assistance available in the region. Don't let his age fool you; wisdom, like fine wine, gains clarity and a smooth richness with age. He is as sharp as a tack and can pierce the veil of the most artful swindler.
